The last 7 weeks

The last seven weeks has been a rollercoaster. my patience as a mother has been truly tested i tell you. So this is what has happen......
One day after Paisley graced us with her presences, she had to be admitted to the NICU for what they call a cyanotic episode, which is where she chokes when eating, so she stayed there for four days, and let me tell you that was the hard to just leave her there at the hospital and come home. And on top of that Samantha did not understand why her sissy wasnt home! Well after four days she finally comes home and she is just perfect. Well six weeks goes by and everything is going fine, The girls are happy and healthy so far, until Sunday October 9th, Miss Paisley waked up with a fever of 102. and mommy freaks out, because i have no idea what to do about her fever or if i can even give her anything , So i call the dr and they tell me to take her to the er asap!
So i hurry up and get the girls ready and tell daddy that we need to go. Well we get to the er and they get us back to a room and they start to tell us that Paisley still has a fever and that they are going to admit us in the hospital for at least a couple of days, that they are going to run some test because they are unsure of  what is causing the fever. Im terrified at this point , so the nurse proceeds to tell us that the test consist of a spinal tap, blood work , and a urine sample. Now im completely scared and my tummy is killing me. How can i let them do a spinal tap on  my poor 7 week old baby girl! I can't!! So Daddy stayed in the room while me and Samantha left!

Well after two days of watching her fever and testing the doctors come in and tell us that its just a bacterial infection... I was so relieved to hear that yay !!!!!! So now we are headed home, Im so relieved... We get home late Tuesday night and Mommy starts feeling bad, Oh great is what im thinking to my self, so i make an appt to follow up with Paisley and for me since im feeling bad. Well we go to the dr Mommy is sick and Paisley is all better until Wednesday afternoon and thats when we notice a rash all over her poor little body and all i can think about is "why me", "what did i do wrong". i call the dr only to find out that the rash could be just from the fever and infection , just to watch it and if it worse to come in. WOW!! can you belive its only been Seven weeks. it feels like a lifetime at this point !
